# What happens when a Match is changed?

Teams or Leagues can make changes to the location and kickoff time for a match.

## If you have an open offer for that match

An offer is open before RefUp.io has made assignments for that bid.

1. You will receive a note in your daily activity email:

2. If you are no longer interested in officiating the match, you may [cancel your offer](/officials/changes/cancelling-an-open-offer). There is never a charge for cancelling open offers.

## If you have won an offer for that match

An offer is won after RefUp.io has made assignments for that bid.

1. You will receive a notification with an updated calendar invitation:

2. If you are no longer interested in officiating the match, you may [cancel your offer](/officials/changes/cancelling-a-won-offer). When match details are changed, any charges are waived if the cancellation is made within 48 hours.
